HOME and BODY+ Houses I Have Driven Past
Home and Body: A literal twist of fate, rotating a diamond canvas back to a square, resulted in Home and Body. The artist was in personal crisis. Home and Body pieces range from a modest 12” to bold 14’ multi panels, (several shaped as yokes or kimono). The intent was to create ideograms for the studio, and the artist. To parallel street art but keep focus on the individual. An alphabet which when assembled became vocabulary, then story. This led to irreversible splashes of paint much like a truck through a puddle. The result being a narrative in picture and fact combined.
Smaller canvases and works on paper are shown first
